We are here to support children and young people who have previously, or are experiencing domestic abuse in Canterbury, Ashford and Folkestone & Hythe.

A children & young people referral can be made for anyone aged 5-24 by:

  • A parent or legal guardian
  • A professional agency
  • A school

Referral form guidance

Before submitting a children & young people referral form to Rising Sun, please read through our guidance to ensure we can process your referral within a timely manner.

  • The children & young people referral form is for those aged between 5 – 24
  • We only accept referrals for those experiencing, or who have previously experienced domestic abuse in Canterbury, Ashford and Folkestone & Hythe
  • Please find our full referrals criteria in our full guidelines below
  • If referring multiple children or young people, please complete a separate referral for each person
  • To ensure your referral can be processed, please include their school details, family details, support from other agencies and history of domestic abuse
  • Please return all referral forms, password protected, to referrals@risingsunkent.com
