Salary: £21,530 pro-rata
Contract: part time (3 days totalling 22.5 hours per week) permanent

Rising Sun Domestic Violence & Abuse Service is a charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse. Working across Canterbury, Ashford and Shepway districts we offer specialist services for survivors and their family. We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our drop-in services.
We are seeking a part-time outreach worker to support adults and families affected by domestic violence within the Canterbury, Ashford and Shepway districts.
Our dynamic team offers a wealth of knowledge and varied experiences who work with a wide range of client groups.
Providing short, medium and longer term interventions which enable families to be safer, achieve better health and wellbeing and longer term autonomy and resilience.
Support will be a mix of telephone and face to face and the role will involve setting up and running community-based drop in advice sessions and providing support to adults and their children in the service.
We are looking for someone with experience of providing advice and support to adults and families affected by domestic violence.

All roles will require enhanced DBS.
Flexible working patterns will be required to meet the needs of the project and may include an evening work.
