Where Your Money Goes
At Rising Sun we rely on donations to help us support adults, families and children to free their lives from domestic abuse.
These are just some of the ways your money is spent to support people:
- £15 a month could pay for an hour’s counselling to help someone recover from the trauma they’ve experienced.
- £30 could pay for a group session of our Guiding Lights programme being delivered to adolescent girls, helping them to recognise the signs of a healthy/unhealthy relationship.
- £100 could fund the art and crafts needed for a children’s recovery programme like A Place for Me
Our Fundraising Promise
We respect the rights of supporters to clear, truthful information about our work, how donations and other income are spent, and how we manage donors’ information responsibly.
We do not share personal information provided to Rising Sun with any other organisation. We never pressure anyone to make a donation and take particular care to avoid asking vulnerable people for donations.
We will not solicit or accept donations from companies or individuals who participate in activities which could cause detriment to the charity’s reputation or work.
