Companies & Trusts Donations

The support we receive from companies is absolutely crucial in helping us continue to support adults, families and children who have lived or who are living with domestic abuse.
There are a number of flexible ways for companies to support us, and for individuals to make donations through their jobs.
Employees can take advantage of straight forward donation schemes and bond with colleagues while fundraising, while the company can reap the business benefits of having increased their corporate social responsibility.

Payroll Giving

This provides an easy way for staff to give to charity, with many employers choosing to match their staff’s donations. As well as demonstrating their commitment to the community and helping to build good relations with employees; companies can submit matched donations to be deducted against company profits for tax purposes.

Fundraising at Work with Colleagues

This can be great fun, hugely rewarding and an effective way of bringing your team together. We can help you run marathons, jump from planes, trek distant lands or support you in organising your own event whether its a bike ride or cake sale.

Training

We offer companies training in domestic violence awareness, so that everyone is able to recognise the signs and make safe enquiries. We are able to tailor our training programmes to suit the requirements of any company.

Volunteering

We have lots of volunteering opportunities in our charity, whether it’s lending a hand with operating the phone line to helping at events, assisting staff or office administration. If you have the time then we have a task to fill it!

Gifts in Kind

We not only need donations in the form of money, but we also value anything that we can use. Any gifts in kind that can help us in the day-to-day running of our charity are greatly appreciated. In the past we’ve received printing services, training rooms and marketing services.

Charity of the Year

If you choose Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service as your charity of the year, you will not only be helping the local community but helping to positively promote your business. By working with us, you are able to secure additional opportunities for publicity and improve your reputation in your community.
