Rising Sun Domestic Violence & Abuse Service is a charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse. Working across Canterbury, Ashford and Shepway we offer specialist services for adults, families and children and young people. We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our drop-in services.

We are seeking a full time children and young person outreach worker to support children and adolescents who have been affected by domestic abuse. Our dynamic team offers a wealth of knowledge and varied experiences who work with a wide range of clients.

Our service offers is broadly split into two age ranges (5 to 11) and (11 upwards). Our service is to be delivered in three main formats: short one-to-one interventions, workshops to groups and casework to work with an individual for a series of one-to-one sessions.

Flexible working patterns will be required to meet the needs of the project and will include evening and weekend work. Staff will be required to work in various locations.
