Who is it for?

The All About Me Programme is open to children who are between the ages of five and eleven who are victims of domestic abuse.

How is it run?

We adopt a flexible approach with our one to one sessions, and can run in a number of different venues including schools and children centres as well as remotely over Zoom.

Overview

Traumatised children may feel that the world is an uncertain and unpredictable place. These children can become socially isolated and develop difficulties with relating to, or empathising with, others. A lack of emotional competence can leave them confused and without the necessary abilities to perform self-soothing exercises. This in turn may lead to negative relationship patterns and poor behavioural adjustments throughout their lives.

645 children were supported by us through our All About Me programme
